At the duck pond I learned that the background really matters. I learned to put the subject in front of a background that is interesting- like trees. But you don't wan the background to be so interesting that it takes away from the subject. Some things that helped me with poses were letting my subject be natural. I let her do what felt natural to her and she looked like she was having fun. The reflector added a glow to the subject that made her look like she was standing in the sun without the sun being out. In the photographs I retouched little skin in perfections, like freckles or scars. Some things that hire portrait photographers are wedding parties, magazines and other jobs where it is based with people. The salary of a portrait photographer is about 32,000 per year, about 15.38 per hour.

I brought a sliced orange. I wanted to do something simple and colorful. I used a metal plate and a table cloth for props.
5 things I learned are light really matters, take photos in both apertures, try to get the the little details, set up the food so it looks appetizing, and change angles to get verity in your photos. I looked up some photos and tried to model mine after theirs. I looked at the way they styled the food. I learned that the aperture can make a world of a difference when photographing food. one depth of field may look better than another. Some careers that deal with food photography are food preparation in a restaurant. I think I was successful in getting the detail in the photos. I would use the light reflectors again, I just need to figure out the perfect balance of light because some of my photos came out too bright. |
